YAY - My first crocheted emoticon!
God, when I started this, it was the hardest thing on earth. First, because I haven't crocheted since a looooong time and second, because I usually don't use any patterns to do such things. So, I had to undo it more than 3 times. Once it even didn't look as if it will ever get a ball. It was just a curly something ( [link] ). I horribly failed but just at the beginning.
After reading the patterns again and again, after undoing the first tries again and again, it started to grow. I had to stop several times, because my fingers convulsed very often. I was so happy as I reached the point to stuff this thing.
Hm.. the hardest thing was the embroidering the contour around the mouth with black yarn. I thought it would be the easiest part of it, oh well.
All in all it was a lot of fun including a lot of pain but it was definitely worth it! More to come!
I used *janey-in-a-bottle's patterns [link] . Thank you for sharing it and you definitely deserved the DD for this great idea!
time: 4 - 5 hours
size: bigger than a tennis ball ( here you can see how big it is [link] )
materials: purple and white wool, black yarn, crochet needle, cotton wool for stuffing
As always, let me know what you think!

If there was an award for the most epic plush/crochet then you would take first place and second and third and every other place!
